How Can You Tell If Someone Will be Good for You or Your Business?

July 25, 2013

Here’s a viewpoint I want to share with you:

How Do Others Effect Your Business?
Who Is Right Or Wrong For Your Business?

Image   There aren’t too many aspects of life that don’t involve other people. In fact, other people are such an integral part of our lives that it’s safe to say the choices we make about the people we interact with are the primary influence on our success or failure.

In business, brilliant ideas, good planning, competent and efficient execution, plenty of money, good promotion and marketing – no matter how many things you’re doing right and how many advantages you have – everything can be destroyed, or nothing can get off the ground in the first place, if you are associated with the wrong people.

The same can happen with talented artists, athletes – in every career.

What Does Associating with the Right People Mean?

Contrary to what some may think, the ‘right’ people are not those who are well-connected or have a lot of money. We’re talking about a whole different game, something far more basic – are they going to enhance your confidence, skills and ability, are they going to encourage and help you learn what you need to know to make things happen, to realize your dreams? Are they going to be a positive influence?

Three things to determine before making a choice:

  1. Is that person going to be stable and reliable? Will things run more smoothly with them around, or are they going to be problematic with trouble seeming to follow them like a shadow?
  2. Do they have a high sense of integrity? Can you count on them to do what is right?
  3. Do they have the insight and skill necessary to understand how others will act and react under a given set of circumstances? Do they communicate well enough with others to interact with them in a way that benefits all concerned and does not create an uncomfortable atmosphere, or worse?

Of course, you also have to ask those questions about yourself. You, too, have to be the kind of person you would want to associate with.

Want to know what to do?

There IS a way to know who to associate with. U-MAN uses one of the most accurate assessment tools on the market today — the “U-TEST”. It is especially accurate for uncovering the person behind the “mask” of socially acceptable behaviour, which so many people wear so well. Protect yourself and your future.  http://www.u-man.ca/u-test.html
